Our in-person Wilderness and Remote First Aid classes provide a comprehensive 16-hour course spread over two days, offering in-depth learning and hands-on skills check off for real-life scenarios.

Conveniently complete the online learning portion at your own pace, followed by an in-person skills check off that includes real-life scenarios to solidify your knowledge and application of first aid skills.
Wilderness First Aid
Prepare for outdoor emergencies with our wilderness and remote first aid training. Certified by the American Red Cross, our expert instructors will equip you with life-saving techniques for injuries, illnesses, and environmental hazards. Select from one of our posted classes, or reach out to schedule a time and date that works best for you, your group, or organization. We are available in California, Wyoming, and Utah.

Embark on your journey to wilderness and remote first aid proficiency with our flexible training options. Choose between in-person or hybrid classes, combining online learning with an in-person skills check off, and complete the comprehensive 16-hour course at your own pace.

Upon completion, you'll earn an American Red Cross Certification that remains valid for 2 years, equipping you with the readiness and confidence to provide essential aid to the injured or ill in challenging outdoor environments.

These do not come with Red Cross Certification, but rather a Certification from The Great Escape Adventures. Trauma Management
Learning primary and secondary assessments as well as wound care, and real-life simulations to treat and care for gunshot wounds, puncture wounds, knife injuries, lacerations, and more.
Orthopedic emergencies in outdoor settings
Splinting (improvised methods and SAM splint), simple relocations, learning innovative ways to care for sprains, fractures, and other orthopedic emergencies when you need to improvise or when you are prepared.
